As you can see by the two above photos, children were out swimming in the lake this afternoon.
After a day and a half of sitting in my casita being depressed and cold, I walked down to the lake with Chico and found a summer day in progress. This is strange weather. It is winter in the mornings and evenings and summer in the afternoons. It lifted my spirit to sit in the sun. I don't like to stay indoors and I don't like to be cold. Chico was glad to get out and sniff at all the interesting things by the lake.
