Charger gone

I just got home from my wonderful vacation and realized that I left my charger there. So I don't know when or if I can find another one. So I won't be so online until then. It may be a long time.

Morning Thoughts

This is my last full day here. I am taking the bus home tomorrow morning. Before I came here I was still upset over my treatment at LCS and I was thinking of moving to San Blas. Before I discovered Ajijic, I was always planning on retiring in San Blas. I had spent months at a time here and loved it. But after two weeks this time, I realize that I would have a difficult time getting used to the weather and the jejenes. It is a great place for a vacation and it has been especially nice to spend time with my friends. But I have been putting deet all over my body every day and I still have bites. Itchy red bites. I don't like having deet on me. It is a poison and it stinks but nothing else works for me. Deet doesn't even work most of the time. So I am riddled with bites.

I love the town and all the fish and shrimp stands in the mornings. I have been eating fish and shrimp everyday. I love the peace and beauty here. I hate the jejenes. I also have a hard time with all the humidity. Tomorrow I am taking the bus back to Ajijic. It has been a wonderful vacation. Thanks to Pat and Doug. I am so lucky to have them in my life. And I will be glad to see Chico and Olive and my friends back in Ajijic.

One more swim today at the beautiful and cold pool.

More San Blas Photos

These last five photos were taken in Aticama. The last one is a big mural about the Huichols.

Dinner at the Social club in San Blas

More beach photos from San Blas

You can see where they are cutting into the jungle and making the road wider on the way to San Blas. I hope this doesn't become another Puerto Vallarta with these new roads.
