Day of the Dead

I rode home yesterday in a taxi. On my way this person was standing on the street corner.  I had the taxi driver stop and wait for me to take the picture..... I think this was a man but I am not sure....

The Ajijic Plaza

After Open Circle, Carolina and I went to the plaza. We had sweets at the coffee shop and talked for a couple of hours. It was quiet in the plaza but the stage was set up for an evening of music. This is the beginning of the Day of the Dead celebrations. Early this morning the fireworks were going off. It is a noisy time of the year here.

Open Circle Sunday Morning at LCS

I was surprised to see the lecture area filled up. I guess the short timers have already arrived. I mistakenly took Chico. He decided that he doesn't like the sound of clapping. Every time people clapped he barked so I had to take him out of the lecture area. The lecture was on the Mexican way of death. This is the beginning of the Day of the Dead celebrations.  I could hear it from the garden area. Next time, Chico stays home.
