Have you ever considered retiring in Mexico? Have you wondered about daily living in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? What about hotels, hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, real estate and cultural activities? This is a diary of my daily life in Lake Chapala and other areas of Mexico. I don't speak Spanish. I am a single retired woman. I hope this blog will give you an idea of what to expect if you decide to make the move.

Ami Food & Deli Restaurant
The above two photos are of the owner, Ana Alejandra Sanchez Munoz, and her proud father.
This restaurant is in West Ajijic, opposite Rancho del Oro. In Plaza Las Flores. They do home delivery. The phone number: (376) 766 6175. They serve breakfast and lunch. I ate there this morning and it was good. They serve hamburgers and hot dogs and a club sandwich. It is a nice place to eat and enjoy the sunshine. The owner and her help are all very friendly.
