Open Circle

Above is the speaker, Wendee Hill.

It has been a few weeks since I have gone to the Open Circle on Sunday morning. It was a very interesting lecture this morning by Wendee Hill on ecology. She has been involved in organic farming and education in the community and schools around the lake for twenty years. She was inspiring. Made me want to go out and plant a garden. That's right, I don't have a yard of my own. What a shame that I can't dig and hoe and water and worry about insects.....

  1. I just saw a great video on YouTube about what they can do with those water hyacinths in the lake. they can actually feed them to cattle. Look up this video. I am really excited about this find. Not only that, in Thailand they weave the plant into beautiful baskets and furniture.
