Have you ever considered retiring in Mexico? Have you wondered about daily living in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? What about hotels, hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, real estate and cultural activities? This is a diary of my daily life in Lake Chapala and other areas of Mexico. I don't speak Spanish. Morning at the Boston Deli with Gigi and Tony
I took this photo for Gigi's daughter who lives north of the border or NOB as people like to say sometimes. I also took a photo of her menu. All her food is delicious.
HI Pat, I found a blog, in spanish that may be of some interest to your friends there if they can read and understand it. I think it is a way to keep abreast of what's really happening in Mexico as far as the drug wars.
There is a way to translate the entire blog from spanish to english. There may be an easier way, but this is what i did. I googled "spanish to english translation" and from there copied and pasted the spanish link in the space provided for linking entire sites. I was able to read it all in English.
