Have you ever considered retiring in Mexico? Have you wondered about daily living in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? What about hotels, hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, real estate and cultural activities? This is a diary of my daily life in Lake Chapala and other areas of Mexico. I don't speak Spanish. I am a single retired woman. I hope this blog will give you an idea of what to expect if you decide to make the move.

Sunset and Horses
Above is my beautiful friend Loretta.
I took a lot of photos of the two horses because I thought they were exceptional horses. I enjoyed having my friend with me to watch the sunset. She was having problems with her landlord and I was upset at the nasty comment on my blog. It is always nice to have a friend to talk to when things aren't going right. I really appreciated that she dropped by last evening. Even though she was very upset, she still had a great smile.
You always amaze me. I am a 60s something single woman who wishes she had half your guts! Anonymous shuld walk a mile in your shoes before she spews her mean criticism. Keep on keeping on!! (and please keep posting your lovely sunset photos. I so look forward to them!)
Thank you. Yes, I will continue to take the sunset photos and I will also delete that person's e mails. I don't need that in my life. Thank you, Patricia
Who would have thought that your Pink Cloud post would have caused such a stir. Sometimes you don't know how many readers you have until the comments on a post start rolling in. I love your photos and captions. I miss Mexico and this brings me alittle closer. Thank you!
Hi Kim, Yes you are right. That one negative comment showed me how much people appreciate me. So, something good came out of something bad. Thank you for writing. Patricia
