Mexican Independence Week in Ajijic

Two people in my neighborhood.
Girls getting ready for the horse parade.
I think that Anita is having too much fun....
Chito. He is playing us a song at the Real de Chapala again.
The Mariachis taking a break at the Real de Chapala.

A beautiful couple was having their wedding lunch at the Real de Chapala. They were singing to each other along with the Mariachis. What could be more romantic? We all fell in love with them.
Little girl before the horse exposition.

Boy riding the mechanical bull and children playing along the edges, waiting for their turns or just having fun.

The above photos were taken at the horse exposition/rodeo in Ajijic.

Above are photos of one of the many parties families were having for the holiday.

The above photos were taken at the Reboza (shawl) Parade in the Ajijic Plaza.

The above photo is of the entrance at La Nueva Posada for Mexican Independence.

After a long day of celebrations, Anita and I walked to La Nueva Posada for dinner. Not a bad life. Not bad at all.....
