A Rainy Constitution Day

Clare and I took the dogs to the lake. They loved playing in the water and meeting new dogs.

Do you think these miniature dobermans are getting enough attention?

Clare's garden in front of her apartment. It rained on and off all day. It was very refreshing.

  1. Well at least the rain is good for the plants, as well as the lake's water level. I read there's been major flooding in Mexico City, which of course affects the sewage sytem, and people still waiting rescue from their rooftops. Always enjoy this blog the most! Quidate bien... Gayle

  2. Hi Gayle, Thank you for writing and continuing to read my blog. I now think of you as a friend, even though we have never met face to face. But this summer I am sure we will meet. I will be in Portland. Patricia

  3. Patricia, I have been going back and forth over your blogs and have read some of them 2 or 3 times. Your life in Ajijic sounds idyllic and serene. My wife and I are only a few years from retirement and are scouting out places to live. We are coming to Ajijic to see for ourselves and we will be with 2 people from Canada who have already bought a house there and have it rented out. They plan on retiring there and they are so excited about the area that we have planned a holiday in which they will show us around. I don't know our schedule but we will be arriving on February 5th for one week and will be staying at La Paloma. I would very much like to meet you, even if only for a drink or a bite to eat.
