Have you ever considered retiring in Mexico? Have you wondered about daily living in a foreign country where you don't speak the language? What about hotels, hospitals, doctors, restaurants, banks, real estate and cultural activities? This is a diary of my daily life in Lake Chapala and other areas of Mexico. I don't speak Spanish. I am a single retired woman. I hope this blog will give you an idea of what to expect if you decide to make the move.

Morning Walk to The Real de Chapala Hotel
The two photos directly above are Alicia's Board and Care homes. She has three of them and they are lovely. Loretta had never seen the Real de Chapala Hotel. She enjoyed the grounds. Both of us wanted to jump into the swimming pool. Unfortunately, they will only let their guests use it.
Patricia, beautiful pictures, loved the trees, I can't wait to get there and see it all in person. We are looking forward to the food, will have to do lot's of walking to keep the weight off.
Hi Cheryl. I am looking forward to seeing you and for sure you will be doing a lot of walking. You will be able to walk into town from your house sitting place and back home again. So don't worry about the extra weight. It will come off quickly. Patricia
