Sunday at the Real de Chapala Hotel

I had a celebration on Sunday. It was the first time I have been able or felt up to going out to the Real de Chapala to listen to the mariachis play. I went with my friends Casey and Ilona. I even treated myself to their expensive buffet. It costs 190 pesos. But it was worth every centavo. I saw a young man there on crutches with his foot in a red sock. I asked if he had broken his ankle. He had, two weeks ago. No surgery. I admired him for having the courage to go out after only two weeks. I still have pain when I walk but I can manage if I don't walk far. It was great for me to have a distraction of the food and the handsome singers.
