Stuck in My Casita

This is unusual weather for Ajijic. It has been overcast and raining for several days. I have been stuck in my casita. I did take a short walk yesterday up to the main road and had a sandwich. But the cobblestones were very slippery. Dangerous walking. I looked at a weather map of Mexico and most of it is covered with clouds. The forecast is for more of the same for several more days. UGH.... But I am spoiled. I am used to everyday being beautiful and sunny.  Since I am not getting out much, I probably won't write anything on the blog until the weather changes...... Now I remember, on Valentine's Day, Tuesday, I have an appointment with the dentist. After I made that appointment I realized that last Valentine's Day I was at the same office. Well, that's one way to make sure I get touched on Valentine's Day but not one I would recommend.

  1. felipe in patzcuaro has written about their rain which he says is unusual at this time of year. sounds like it's that way in a lot of areas. do be very careful when you're out and about.

good luck at the dentist. be glad they have good dentists there. dentistry here is a bit behind the times. poor steve is having another root canal done.

take care and have a good day!

  2. a nasty, cold drizzle. my two cats like to sit in my window box, among the geraniums and impatients, so that people on the way to LCS can admire them and, sometimes, take their picture. But it's been too wet even for them. A RAY OF SUNSHINE--i just discovered your blog. Many thanks.

  4. Hi Teresa, Thanks for writing. I sure hope a root canal isn't in my near future. I bet it is a lot more expensive there to go to the dentist than in Mexico. Take care. P

  5. Hi Diane, Thank you for writing. I have no idea of why my blog is a ray of sunshine. I have been grumbling for days about this awful weather. But I thank you..... Keep in touch. Sounds like you live near LCS? Let's meet sometime when it gets nicer weather. P

  6. Hi Donna, We had about two hours of sunshine today. That Mexico weather map isn't very encouraging. Most of Mexico is covered with clouds. It is nice to get e mails from people and have something to do here in this little casita. Thank you. P

  9. Hi Patricia,
Well, if it makes you feel better, we had temps in the teens over the weekend...and really windy, with snow showers! But we're back to about 50 today. Hopefully, your cold rain is about over too. :)
