After the heat and the traffic and crowded stores, the thunder and rain has arrived. It feels wonderful and refreshing. Maybe the rainy season is going to start early this year.
Wasn't the rain so refreshing today, Patricia? It was wonderful to get a break from the extremely hot afternoons. I went up on the mirador & did some more reading in a landscape painting book I've been "studying". Went shopping at Soriana with Dan today & stocked up the kitchen, too! Blessings, Carolina
Hi Carolina, Thanks for writing. Yes, it was great. It was so hot this afternoon. You are lucky to have that view. I have heard that when the lightening strikes behind the clouds over the lake it is like a light show. I have never seen it. Maybe some day I can watch it from your place this summer. Patricia
Patricia ~ You are welcome here any time. And, yes, I agree -- We do have a million-dollar view, don't we? When I was in Guadalajara & living in Tlaquepaque back in 1982, the thunder would echo around the mountains that encircled us. It would thunder, and then just keep on rolling from one mountain to another. Strange and wonderful! We are all blessed. Carolina
Hi Carolina, Thanks for that wonderful description of the thunder. Sounds like you are going to enjoy the summers here. I am hanging out in my yard to avoid the heat and the crowds. Happy Sunday. Your friend, Patricia
