Wednesday Ajijic Market

A curious little girl
Anyone for Pizza?
The bottom photo is a dog bed I bought at Anita's booth for Chico. He loves to sleep on soft things. I smelled it all over and it smelled new, no animal scents on it. Boy was I wrong. Chico smelled every inch of it and then walked away.  He found them. He will have nothing to do with it. I am just glad he didn't pee on it. I am having a yard sale in a few weeks. This is going to have to go in it.

  1. I like that little girl with the fish. That would have totally been me as a kid.

  2. Cute, probably would have been me too. I wanted to get a photo of her with her face up to it as she sniffed at it but she had already gone beyond that to poking it in the eye. Thanks for commenting. Patricia

  3. Gotta say it irks me how Mexicans let their kids finger stuff. Actually, it's just not right the way people are such space invaders, and those grubby mitts in anything and everything is a total gross-out.

  5. I have to agree, they should teach their children not to touch food. I mean you don't know if they have a cold or flu or something contagious then some person is going to pick it up. children are always putting their fingers in their noses and mouth. Just saying, it's not just Mexicans though that is kind of a racist remark. It's all races.

  6. great pix patricia. also hoping that last one is not a serious comment. kids will be kids and that kind of thing happens everywhere, not just in mexico.

i sure look forward to going back to mexico someday-but for now, we are japan bound in 2 days.

take care and have a great weekend!

  7. Hi Barbara, Thanks for your comment. I guess it is just too tempting for children for them to not touch things. Everything is so interesting. Patricia

  8. Hi Teresa, I bet you are too excited to sleep. Please keep in touch with me and tell me about your new life. Again, I hope you will consider starting a blog about life over there. Thanks for writing to me. Patricia

  9. Regarding Chico's bed? Put a few of your (gently used) clothes in it, on it, around it. Chico will gladly sit/stay/sleep on it if he smells YOU on it! I would suggest YOU sit on it, but it's probably way to small? But! You could easily put it on your bed & put your feet up on it! Chico will love it once it has your scent on it, and especially when he sees you using it! gaw in pdx
