My yard is so beautiful these days that I rarely leave it. I go out in the mornings to do errands and then return in the afternoons to read in my chaise lounge. Very lazy these days. But why leave when it is a little paradise?
It is lovely! I bet it smells good, too. Glad you can enjoy it. :)

Hi Karen, Thanks for writing. I think that is a lilac bush but it has no smell. That is surprising to me but there are other nice fragrances in the yard. Hope all is well with you and the students. Benito Juarez's birthday is celebrated on Monday.... Maybe there will be a parade or two. P
DeleteAh! Kumquats. I use them in stir fry. Or did. I simply cannot get them around here. At least, I have not found a source.
ReplyDeleteHi Steve, Thank you for that suggestion. I went on the internet today, trying to find something to do with the kumquats. The only suggestion I found was for making jam and jelly and I don't feel like getting into that mess. I will try to stir fry them. Good to hear from you again. P

Hi Teresa, Thank you for writing, caps and all, just glad to hear from you. I would even appreciate getting smoke signals from you but I don't think they would travel all the way from Japan. I am glad you are starting to feel better. I know Anita. She is a saint. I go to her stall first thing on Weds. She has interesting things for sale. hi Mark, I am sorry, I can't answer that question because I have never tried to grow vegetables. Vegetables are sold year around here. I am guessing that it is possible. Flowers grow like mad here. Thanks for writing. P
