    Is that some type of moss on the tree? It's hard for me to tell. Do you know what kind of tree it is?

    HI Karen, Yes, I think it is some kind of moss but I think of it as spun gold. I don't know what kind of tree it is either. I just take photos of things I like. Hope all is well in your life.... Patricia

    It's a parasitic plant called Dodder.

      Thank you for that information. So it makes the tree look like it is covered in spun gold but is actually killing it off. Very sad. P
