It was quite a rainstorm last night. I was busy on my computer and didn't notice that my deck was flooding. Someone came to my door and was standing in about eight inches of water. I had forgotten to take off the cover over my drain out there. I will not do that again! When half your living area is outside, it is necessary to be more vigilant. But I still love having an outdoor kitchen!
It is grey and overcast out there this morning. Maybe I will take a walk with Chico up to Salvador's for breakfast. I feel hungry for a waffle. I hope we get more sunshine this afternoon.
