We got all excited when we read "More Market Photos" and then...our "lightning fast" internet wouldn't load them! Undaunted we refreshed the page and got your refreshing photos! Thanks ever so much for taking the time to share these, you can't know how we look forward to these glimpses...Blogs DO need photos, and photos CAN be worth more than many words. You do a great job! This is one of the best Mexico blogs, and there are many.
Hi Teresa, Thank you for the compliment and for writing again. Please keep in touch from Japan. I would love to hear about your new life there. Patricia
Thank you so much P&D for writing and for your compliment. It means a lot to me to get feed back. Sometimes I get lazy and think of not keeping this blog going but comments keep me hanging in there. Patricia
I agree - great pictures. I was just in Ajijic and did not really take any pictures of people I didn't know. I did not know what the protocol was in Mexico. Do you ask the people if you can take their picture, or just smile, or maybe use such a long lenses they don't know? Keep it up, you give a good overview of the area.
Hi Pat Y. Thank you for the compliment and for writing. I do both. Sometimes I use the magnifier on my camera and other times I just ask if it is okay to take their photo. Most people love to have their pictures taken. That makes it easy. Patricia

ReplyDeleteYes, Pat--these are great photos to me. There is something about the "quiet light" in them. Love the shots of the people doing what they do.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jody...... I appreciate that. patricia
