My local grocery store

Just about anything you would want is in this store. If it isn't out front it is in the back. The prices many times are less than the larger stores in town. And he keeps a list for people who want credit. This store is always busy. There are fresh tortillas in the coolers and I don't know what else. It is filled with new things all the time. He buys fresh fruit from the farmers too. And freshly made string cheese, home cooked beans, home cooked puddings, etc.

I decided not to work on my blog anymore. I was so frustrated.  But just for an experiment I tried to put on these three photos which I think were taken with more pixels. It wouldn't work. So I canceled the posting. Then I decided to look at my blog from google. And there are the photos.....  SO it looks like at the moment I have absolutely NO control over what happens on this blog......  I either give in to the chaos or just don't have anything to do with it for awhile.

The question for me is this: After doing it for so many years, will I be able to stop? It has become such a part of my life. I get so frustrated and angry at times when I can't fix the problems. And when someone writes to tell me that my photos are blurry or my foremat is a mess. And I say, "That's it. I give up. No more blogging." And then I try again. Funny how this time it was the blog itself that decided to continue on. It would NOT delete my post.... maybe that is a sign. Who knows......

Easter 2017

My communication system is almost down completely. I am going to do my best to put ONE photo on the blog for Easter this year. I have no working phone. My i pad isn't charging enough to be able to use it much. My photos are not going on at a higher resolution more than one a posting. So this is what I chose for this Easter....... I won't be working on my blog for awhile. Not until things change in my life. I am tired of fighting with electronics.

Easter will be here Tomorrow

I am having lots of communication problems. I have gotten complaints that my photos are blurry and my blog is a mess. I don't know what happened to have made the difference. Maybe it was my new camera. Maybe it is my i pad and maybe it is the person working it all. That would be me. I am so discouraged. My telephone hasn't worked for a few days. The telephone store is closed for the holidays. SO I can't get it fixed. I left my i pad charger in San Blas. Without a cat and dog sitter, I can't even go over there to get it. So I am trying to use these generic chargers which only last a few days and then quit working.

Who knows if it will even be charged up by tomorrow. That is why I am saying Happy Easter today instead. And if anyone writes to me, please understand that I am out of  ALL communication systems right now. I know I said I would try to change the Foremat so you wouldn't be deleting messages to me but the computer man hasn't been over. Everything is closed down now for the Easter holidays. Which I think will last at least through Monday.

I know I won't be able to swim next week at all. I remember last week after Easter. It was impossible to do laps. Maybe not being able to swim on top of having no communications has put me in a bad mood. Now the loud music has already started next door. Easter isn't quite as bad as Christmas as far as noise all around me. But it is still there and I expect tonight will be the worst with all the celebrations and noise and fireworks.

Sometimes I wonder, WHY AM I HERE????  And I don't mean just in this place.... I mean HERE on this earth when things get so snarled up and nothing works and I am sitting here alone. Easter used to be my favorite holiday. That was when I had my family around me. And my son was a little boy. He liked coloring the Easter eggs and then finding them in the yard. I sure miss that. Now I just want it to be over. I guess I am just getting old and cranky.....

My Walk Through Lower La Floresta

Yesterday I went to a meeting with the Mexican Immigration people at the Real de Chapala about their new rules. I was worried that they were going to tell us that we would have to pay a lot of money to leave and come back, just as payback for the giant wall that Trump wants to build. But that wasn't the case at all. They were very nice to us. And no mention of extra money. I took some photos of the pretty flowers that are now blooming down in the Lower La Floresta area. I hadn't been there since I moved out. And some photos of the Hotel. Wish I could use their pool. But they only allow their guests to use it. At a hundred dollars a night, I can go without that.

There are now cows in front of their lawn. One good way to keep the weeds down.
