Sorry to hear this Pat. How soon do you have to move?I don’t know but if it were me I would check out Hotel Perico in Chapala. They accept pets and even though it’s not really an apartment, they do have some pretty good rates, which get better if you rent from them long term. Here is the link for their website:http://www.hotelperico.com.mx/en/Good luck with your search.
Thank you. It is too far out without a car. P
Do you know anyone named Libby or Shirley there, Patricia? These are two acquaintances I have in your area. If you like, I can give you some contact info - maybe they know of something...
Thank you Stan. I don´t think I know them. But I would appreciate the contacts. P
I'll send a link to your blog (and this entry) to them Patricia - maybe if they leave a comment here you guys can figure out how to meet...
Thank you. P
Patricia, Happy to see you are back! Sorry you have to move, but good news that you get to take Chico! Have you looked at the rentals on Access Lake Chapala? There is one there on Javier Mina that looks good to me for $260. US. It appears to be a good location. Hope you find something you love! Connie in Washington
Thank you Connie. I looked at it. Not suitable for me. p
Maybe "Klips" might work for you, free on the App Store, allows you to cut and paste. Another learning curve too but it will be worth it I'm sure 😉
Oops that should be "Clips"!
Thank you. I will check it out. P
Perhaps something like this one if you have to move fairly soon. It is $400 and 6-12 month. But would give you time to find something more permanent.http://www.accesslakechapala.com/2015/08/19/apartment-ajijic-3/
Disregard last post. I didn't notice "No pets".
Thank you. The thought of moving two more times is exhausting. I have so much stuff. I will keep looking. p
I know of a place in Ajijic that has a second floor casita for rent for 750/mo all inclusive if you are interested? It's a one bedroom, with living room and nice little kitchen open concept, laundry room and a nice big Spa type bathroom and lovely balcony, and a pool to use! It is furnished however so maybe can negotiate having it unfurnished...Not sure about the cat but I know she is pet friendly. If interested let me know....
Thank you . Too much rent for my. I may be able to stay here. Crossing my fingers. p
Hoping all works out for you, Patricia!Karen in VA
