Morning Thoughts--Hopefully, coming out of a bad time

Bad things, as well as good things seem to come in threes, or maybe more than threes, maybe they come in waves. This past week has been a series of bad things, very bad things. A Tsunami wave of bad things.....

There were the two murders in my neighborhood. And that overshadows all the other bad things. Not to say that the other things were to be taken lightly......  One of the murderers is still at large. Three days ago, I saw 10 State police trucks filled with policemen, rolling into town.

Next, Tammy's precious little dog, Kito, ate a berry in the yard and almost died. It was two days before we took him to a specialist in Guadalajara and he took an x ray and saw it. Otherwise, he would have died sitting in a vet's office here who did not have an x ray and she did not tell us that.....   We were sure he was a goner. But he got the surgery in time.

In between these two things, a woman one block from my house was robbed at knife point. The man slashed her purse off her shoulder and ran with it. But people chased him and he dropped it. He got away.

I hope this wave of bad things is over now.........  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

  1. Happy Valentine's Day to you, too Pat. I hope this is one of those times when "it's always darkest before the dawn"!

  2. "People chased him" is a good thing. Linda was robbed by someone slitting her bag on a bus in full front of all the people standing behind her. They told her about it after the guy got off the bus-this was Mexico City in 76. The regular folk in Mexico are more willing to confront street crime today-a good thing.

    1. They caught the murderers. There is no place in the world that I know of that has NO crime...... I believe it is safer here than most other places. p
