Yesterday's Farmer's Market in Portland, OR.

This market is held on the Portland State University campus. Did I mention that it is COLD up here?  I loved looking at all the interesting things, lots of root veggies, but I didn't buy anything. I couldn't get over the high prices.....

  1. Beautiful photos. Looks cold! :-) I'm with you on the ridiculously high prices, though. It puts "good", "safe" food out of the price range of most people. Sad situation.

  2. Welcome to PDX. Yes, it's cold and may even snow before Thanksgiving. Enjoy it and be thankful you have a home in Mexico.

  3. Hi Cubanofila, Thank you for the compliment on the photos. Everything here seems expensive to me. Guess I am just spoiled by Mexico... P

  5. Really pretty pictures...but no sunshine in sight...and wet ground everywhere. Need a full closet of coats in Portland. I visit a friend in Bend yearly, it is much sunnier - but still cold way too early for me. Enjoy your time in the northwest, even with the weather.

  7. And here I am longing for the bracing chill of November. I head up at the end of the month for a week or two. Just long enough to get my visa for China.
