Morning Thoughts--Apology

This morning's sunrise
Chico and Olive. Olive is on the prowl in the mornings.
My kitchen/office
I have to apologize about my last morning thoughts. I should have learned by now that negative words always come back to bite me.  I shouldn't have written those words. I should have just taken it up with the person who asked me the questions.

I have since apologized to him but that didn't work.  Just more negativity came back to me. I would take the entire post off but I really need other people to know that I do not have the time or inclination or energy to answer a lot of personal questions. I feel that I have put everything on my blog anyway. My entire time here is spread out in those many many posts.

So I received an insult about how boring my blog is from the person I apologized to and that just reminds that when you start something negative, it escalates. You can't stop it, even if you apologize.....  That negative energy is like a snowball that just keeps on picking up more negative energy and rolls over any attempt to stop it. And people get hurt. I am so sorry for what I started.

This, once again, reminds me to be very careful of what I put on this blog. I am human and so sometimes my human feelings are expressed. Negative feelings. The stupid locked gate in Lower La Floresta by my old home is one example. That really stirred up a storm of negativity. So, once again, now on this public forum, I apologize to the person who asked me the questions. I hope he will now see fit to forgive me and move on to another site and not e mail me anymore. It was MY mistake. Please forgive me and move on.

  1. No.
YOU do not owe the man an apology. He owes you one. If he read your blog at all he would know that you are not there to answer all his questions.

  2. I should have let you know that I was through Ajijic last week with my cousin and his wife. It was an interesting (but brief) stop.

  3. Hi Steve, So sorry that I missed you. You told someone that you had met me in a town where I have never been. So I KNOW we have never met. Next time.... P

  4. Hi Patricia, I found your blog about a month ago and went back to the beginning to read it all. I found it very interesting and informative and answered many of my questions about the area. So don't listen to any negative comments because I truly appreciate the information you provide.

  5. People should not expect for you to answer all of their questions. Also, just because you like to share your photos and experiences with us doesn't mean you have all the time in the world. Your blog is not boring and that person should not have responded to you that way. I enjoy reading your blog and looking through your photographs. To each it's own. Don't let that bother you, keep up the good work!!! Best, Zulema

  6. Pat when I read this I was reminded about a forum that I joined and posted some questions about cost of living there and lots of people were awesome but there were some that are long time members who reside in Lake Chapala who were very negative and sarcastically challenging in response to my post. They acted as if I was purposely trying to waste there time and was bothering them for me to post what I did. I was stunned by their response as it was my first experience posting on a forum. And my last probably! Lol! What I learned from it is there are just a lot of snarky people out there in the land of www, who for whatever reason see it as a place to be confrontational for no other reason than to argue it seems so I think one just has to ignore it and move on. At least that's how I decided to handle it. Took what was useful and ignored the negative useless stuff. You are so kind to share your life with all the www browsers and visitors without meeting them in person. Your blog is rich with information and far from boring! I love your blog and find it as a great library of information about just what you intended it to be! Thank you for sharing what you do!

  10. Don't let one bad apple ------. Some people want others to do everything for them. Just use the delete button or block them. That request didn't even deserve an answer, let alone an apology! Don't take it personally, ever!

  12. Patricia, I definitely wouldn’t worry about this person. Sounds like nothing but a troublemaker to me. If your blog is so boring, why did this person contact you with so many questions in the first place?

I enjoy your blog immensely and especially all of the beautiful pictures you share!
