Afternoon Clouds

I took this photo from my deck about an hour from a downpour of rain. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Until it started raining.

    1. Thanks for commenting. Yes, those clouds are spectacular and they dump a spectacular amount of water too. p

  2. Pat, I'm re-reading some of your blog posts--like from 2011. Did Ilona and Casey ever move to Ajijic/Chapala? I was surprised to hear that Tanga was leaving the area to head back to Florida because "she didn't like the weather" in Ajijic!! I don't know how she can stand the heat and humidity in FL!!

  3. Hi Lorrie, I haven't heard from Ilona and Casey for years. I don't think either of them moved here. Tanga left last week for Florida but she is intending to move to Ensanada in a little while. I know, thinking that it is bad weather here and moving to Florida seems like a strange choice. p

  4. It is disgustingly hot and SO VERY humid here!! Ugh! I can't imagine Tanga in FL. Friends of mine in Albuquerque also want to move to Mexico. They visited Ajijic for a week with me. They like the area but just weren't sure about it. They have a timeshare in PV and Cancun but agree those spots are too hot, humid and touristy for the long term. They, too are looking at Baja/Ensenada area. Have you ever heard of Guanajuato? I saw it on a travel site and thought that looked like a quaint colonial city. I love Ajijic but reading about break-ins, etc. is making me a tad bit nervous.

    1. Hi Lorrie, It hasn't been so humid here the past couple of days. I too hate that. I have been to Guanajuato. Do you think it is any safer than here? It is a beautiful city but vew expats live there. You would have to speak Spanish and like walking on hills. It is very hilly. p
