Morning Walk in my neighborhood, Lower La Floresta

Morning Glories
There is a huge dog that lives behind this fence. Chico barks at him every time he walks by.
Our electric meter was just replaced. People steal them for the two dollars worth of copper or else to replace their own meter so they won't have to pay the bill. Each meter is to a specific household. Our bill for the past two months was less than four dollars because it took that long for them to replace our meter.

  1. Good grief you would think that people wouldn't steal something like this I mean by the time they would get it up or take it apart it wouldn't be worth the trouble! You know in this modern world it's surprising to me that Mexico hasn't resolved the electricitiy issues! Kind of sounds very backwards to me..... but I'm too use to the States....we take electricity for granted! pam in Oregon

    1. Hi Pam, Electricity here is relatively high, compared to everything else. You would be surprised at the things people will steal here, just to make a few dollars. p

    1. Hi Jack, I am surprised that they steal them in the States. I bet the electric company up there doesn't wait two months to get another one put back on. p
