Morning Thoughts-- Morning Frustrations -- Cat Angst

Is anyone else having problems with yahoo mail? Every since they changed their format, I have had one problem after another with it. This morning they locked me out and said they needed to have my password again. Okay, I put that in and as soon as I got to my e mails, it flashed off and asked for my password again. That is all I can get from them. No way are they going to let me into my account. I have used yahoo mail for years now and everyone I know writes to me on that account but this is the final blow from them. After weeks of fighting with them with other problems, I give up. I am going to use my old gmail account.  Just wondering if I am the only person who is having problems with yahoo mail?

Other than that, all is well. I need to focus on this day instead. It is the day before Christmas and I am going out to see the live creches at the church tonight. I hope my camera will take some good night photos. It hasn't done that so far but I am trying to be positive, through my steaming anger at yahoo mail.

So if anyone sends me an e mail and I don't answer, you will know why. I am for the moment not able to correspond with anyone who sends me e mails through yahoo mail. And that is everyone I know.
This problem just contributes to my angst, which always wells up from within me on the major holidays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and my special holiday, my Birthday.

This morning the cat is here. I fed her and petted her and still she meows at me. She is following me around, meowing and meowing. She wants something from me but I have no idea of what she wants. I just attribute it to CAT ANGST. Dogs don't seem to have that. They are straight forward.  I like dogs better. I always know what they want. Not cats. I feel like a cat this morning. Full of angst.

But, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU..... I am hoping tomorrow will be better for me. Right now I just want to hurl my computer through my window and go back to bed. Weather forecast is for rain today. Great. Maybe I won't make it to the creches today.

  1. Hi - Merry Christmas! I hope the angst has lessened now. Yesterday, I was the same way - thinking of all the things I need to do in the next couple of weeks - and can't possibly do. Of course, two hours later, I got a phone call and one of the problems was solved - easily. Changed my whole frame of mind - the "can do" me came back. Yes, I have some problems with yahoo too. They don't lock me out - and I bet in a couple of hours you will be able to get back in. But I definitely don't like the new format - seems it is always flashing and not opening folders when asked, or very slow to do it. Just flashes a lot. Also, no exactly user friendly. They change things thinking it will be easier, but usually it isn't. So - Merry Christmas! I know you will meet up with friends and have a wonderful time. About the cat....does she want you to sit down with her? If it isn't food she needs, maybe it is a few strokes. Pat.Y.

MERRY CHRISTMAS.....rain is better than the deep freeze here in Canada. I think the cat want your undivided attention while she sits on your knee. P>

    2. Pat,

Yahoo is updating the passwords on all the e-mail accounts for your protection. I had to change my too. Just remember to WRITE IT DOWN.

We will be in Lake Chapala from 3/21 to 3/30. We hope to meet up with you sometime during the trip

  3. Hi Roy, Thanks for commenting. They didn't reject my password. They let me in with my password but then shut me out again and asked for it again. But the next day it was okay. I think it was a system overload for the holidays. Yes, let me know when you get here and we can meet. Thanks, p

  4. Isn't it funny how something like email accounts can blow your whole mood....life seemed simplier when we never had computers or the internet, but none of us can really live without one now! How did we manage before the internet???? I know how, by getting off our duffs and heading out to talk and visit face to face with people, or we chatted for hours on the phone, or went to the library for anything we needed to look up, or we had better imaginations.....we were more creative perhaps. I don't know but life seemed simplier to me. Sure didn't spend thousands of dollars on technology that's for sure! Pam mcnish

    1. Hi Pam, I agree with you. Years ago, when I first visited Mexico, there wasn't even a phone in the town were I lived. Life was much simpler then but also much more isolated. I really missed my family. I am so grateful now for skype. p
