  1. Oh my goodness....the babies and children are just adorable! I tell you what, there is no way I would lose weight if I lived there.....too much yummie fresh foods to explore and enjoy! Heaven help me if and when it happens!!!! I better go on a diet now so when I get there my appetite will be way less than it is now!! LOL!

    1. Sounds good. Unfortunately, sometimes when I diet my appetite gets larger and not smaller. It is hard to win in the diet game. Thanks for commenting. p

  2. Yes it all comes down to self discipline, that's really the purpose of dieting in my opinion...to learn self discipline. I plan to have a vehicle while there so I will have to find a way to swim it off to get a good workout. I wouldn't be able to handle walking like you do, my feet and knees are a wreck which worries me a bit with the cobblestone roads. I can see myself breaking an ankle just manuevering around the streets and walkways! LOL!

    1. Thanks for commenting. Many times I have wished for a car but I know myself. If I had a car, I would quickly stop walking. Driving is just too easy and as you mentioned, walking on those cobblestones is hard. P

  3. All of the photos are great and I will look forward to more pics of your son's area when you visit there again soon. You are fortunate to have 2 beautiful places to live/visit.
Could you tell me the name of the hotel where you lived for a few months in the beginning? I couldn't find it in your early blogs. Thank you.

    1. Hi Linda, Thanks. I don't think there is a name of that place. It is just half a block up the main road from the Chapala Plaza. I will try to find it on my blog and post the telephone number. P

  4. In the seventh photo from the top, I think the woman sitting behind the embroidered clothing resembles Frida Kahlo.
Is it a coincidence or was that the intent?
Once again, your pictures are ever enjoyable.
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Phyllis, She sure does. But you would have to ask her if that is her intent. She may not be flattered about that. P
