  1. I like Puerto Vallarta. I stay in the Romantic Zone - close to the Rio Cuale and downtown without needing a taxi or bus to get around. Hope you had/are having a great time, especially at sundown when the sunsets can be overwhelming gorgeous!!

  3. Although I liked Puerto Vallarta better in 1981 during my first stay, the bay and surrounding areas are still beautiful. I've been there over 20 times, many fond memories.

  4. We were in PV this past weekend, left on the 20th :(.. it is absolutely beautiful; we also stayed at the Westin.. had a room on the ground floor with access to the pool and the beach, it was amazing! I hope the rest of where you're going is as beautiful and i'm sure it is :)

  5. My wife and I stayed in PV, in Old Town, about 30 years ago, and did not return until 5 years ago. For that part of time, it didnt look like it had changed that much. JACKB

  6. Hi Jack, Good to hear from you. You are so right. We walked through there. I wanted to see the old hotels where I used to stay. Not much had changed except the hotels that were once 15 dollars a night are now 40 dollars a night. p

  8. hi Caryl Anne, Thanks for commenting. It IS VERY BEAUTIFUL. Just don't go in the summer time. My friend was there and it was too hot to leave the room or to get into the pools. p
