Patricia and Pat, Two Friends Having A Great Day Together

Above is my friend Pat Cordes. She is visiting with me for a few days. She is the webmaster for the site MexicoGuru.com. Check it out.

Pat took this photo of me. We are having dinner at La Nueva Posada after a day on the lake. Not a bad life!

  1. Patricia my goodness you look fantastic!! I looked through your other posts and didn't see one even slightly mentioning a fountain of youth right there!!! I hope you post somewhere in your abode a picture fromj Califoria life and this picture for comparison. There is not a shadow of a doubt how much more alive and healthy you look back in your beloved Mexico. Definitely one picture tells a thousand words.
I am so happy for you !!! You have well deserved this wonderful life. Your son will come around . I don't remember if you ever menioned him visiting you there in Lake Chapalla region. I just feel once he realizes how wonderful your social network already is there in paradise e should come round to being extremely happy for you. In fact I'm suprised he doesn't want to live down there too. What kind of work does he do in the states??
Anyway you now have a wonderful life to live at it's fullest in thank you to the Gods/Goddesses for letting you find this wonderfl paradise right here on earth.
This is really long sorry, I don't know the edequette for the length of responses for blogs. I have lurking in my mind a wonderful hcienda that would hold e6e 5o 8 ladies all living within its walls enjoyung each otheres company, being there for each other kinda like an extended family. A place with our pooled money where we could have important features to hopefully get us to live there happy as a clam until the day we died. Or had to get special nursing. I keep coming to this idea every year since I first hesrd of a few women actually putting it into force and having wonderful tales of just how much longer they could stay in their own homes and of course not be faced with lifes little jokes all on their own. Have you ever had some of those thoughts or know others who feel the same. I am way in the begining stages of planing aspects/daydreams of the whole thing. It reminds me somewhat of that old tv show Golden Girls. There are going to be even more women caught in their predicament as the enormous population explosion the war babys come trampling through all the government agencies at a pace and a real change in what they expect from life during their golden years. They not only last longer they aren't quiet about it. They are very voluable as to the minimum kind of lifestyle they will live with and what ever agency over sees this section willl definitely need flag gear up and down the wazoo. At least that's the way I see it. Sorry so long, but am hopeful someone will read this and be intrigued enough to respond to it.
Am I allowed to put my email address?? If not you of course may erase it.

  2. Hi Bonnie, Thank you for your compliment....I don't particularly like the photo of me but then I never do like my photos. I am sure you could get that many women together if you just looked around. The Lake Chapala Society would be a good place to start. What is your time frame? I could put up a notice for you if you like. And I will mention it to the few women I know here. Sounds exciting. Thank you. Patricia
