Afternoon Walk with Suzanne and Pat in Ajijic

A Rental.....Suzanne is Looking for a Housemate Now

The ground floor is Suzanne's place
Above is a photo of the bedroom that is available. Those are stained glass windows. Beautiful.
Above is our friend Don. He was staying with her for a few days. He is headed back to San Blas. He misses the beach. It isn't a very clear photo but I wanted to show how large it is in her living room. It is a beautiful place. If you are interested in it please e mail Suzanne. She will give you all the details. It is also in town and a short walk to the Lake Chapala Society. I have more photos of the grounds on my post titled; Behind the Walls in Ajijic. Suzanne's e mail address is: zanmar6@yahoo.com

La Nueva Posada Hotel in Ajijic

Above is my friend Pat. She came over from her home in the beach town of San Blas. She is one of my best friends. She can only stay a few days this time because she has a busy life. She is in the process of building a house in San Blas.  She has been living there for many years. I hope to make it to her house sometime this winter. She loves all the wonderful restaurants here. San Blas is a small fishing village and they don't have the choices we do in Ajijic. As you can see, she looks like she is having a good time.  La Nueva Posada is a beautiful restaurant/hotel. I hadn't been there for many months and it was nice to be in their garden again. I know some of the waiters and I enjoyed seeing them again too. I believe that La Nueva Posada is one of the nicest hotels and restaurants in Ajijic. If you are interested in it, here is their information. Donato guerra No.9 is their address. www.hotelnuevaposada.com or e mail nuevaposada@prodigy.net.mx or call from Mexico 52 (376) 766 1344.

La Terraza di Giovanni a New Italian Restaurant in Ajijic

My friend Pat arrived from San Blas yesterday evening. We tried out the new Italian restaurant that recently opened near the movie theater. My friend Lamar joined us and it was a delicious meal. They are open Mondays through Sundays from noon to ten in the evening. And they deliver.  Their cell number is:331 303 9814. They are also very friendly as you can see from the photos. The meals are inexpensive, ranging from forty pesos to seventy pesos. They have no minimum on their deliveries.

Sunday Afternoon Charro Performance

Another relaxing Sunday afternoon with free entertainment. I love to watch the cowboys and horses. They always seem to be having so much fun. But sometimes I feel sorry for the poor horses that are being chased and roped to the ground. I noticed that one horse was skinned up pretty badly.
