I think this man is frying pork. There is always something cooking up in the streets here.
I took a long walk with Chico in the morning. The plaza was pretty quiet. Sunday mornings are busy times when people go out to eat breakfast.
The pond at the Lake Chapala Society. There are some very large fish in this pond. I found out the winner of the Singing contest at La Bodega. It was an American. Chavo had the most points before the buying of votes began. The American man had a table full of his American friends, buying votes. The person with the most votes was given five extra points and that was enough to put him in first place and give him the 2000 pesos. I wonder if he needed that money as much as the Mexicans who were competing against him.......
