My Bus Trip into Chapala

View from the end of the new Malecon in Chapala.

The huge mural is finally finished. It is on a retaining wall on the way into Chapala from Ajijic.
Beautiful work. I hope it lasts and isn't defaced with graffiti. And I hope the wall never caves in.

Above is the Beer Garden Restaurant in Chapala.

The two above photos were taken at a very popular ice cream store across the street from the Malecon in Chapala.

Two restaurants on the Malecon in Chapala.

An Afternoon in Chapala, Watercolor Clouds

I love the above photo. It reminds me of a watercolor. One of those where you soak the paper with water and brush on the paint and then dab off spots of it with a sponge.... I did a few of those but they were nothing compared to the real thing. I was lucky to get a photo of this natural beauty.

Horses are on their way home for the night.

I guess this horse was getting bored with hanging out at the beach and was trying to get past the chain fence.

As you can see, it was cloudy part of the day yesterday. I walked up to Walmart. I am doing a lot of walking these days. Chico goes along with me most of the time, unless I have to go into the stores. He and I get pretty tired by the evening.

The End of Another Beautiful Day in Ajijic

I wonder if the man carrying all that wood has a fireplace.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

My friend, Anita, had her birthday party today at La Nueva Posada. It was great fun. Twenty women were there to celebrate with her. The mariachi group played for us. I didn't put photos online. I didn't get a chance to ask her if she minded. I did take more sunset photos after the party.

Free Dog, Beagle

Ralph, my friend, found this cute little Beagle on the street. She is only about eight months old. He had her fixed so she can't get pregnant again. She was pregnant when he found her. He has two dogs and says three would be too many for him. If anyone would like her, please contact me or him at the Villa Eucalyptus Bed and Breakfast.

Lake Chapala in the Morning

You can see that it is still cloudy here. It is comforting for me to wake up and walk to the lake and see that everything is still there: horses, sky, water, clouds, trees, mountains. All the beauty was not my just in my imagination. It is here, every day, all the time.
