Easter is coming in a few weeks. That is always a crazy time of the year. The town will be packed for a couple of weeks. I won't be able to even get into the pool. Lots of fireworks will be shooting off, scaring the animals. Fun.
My friend Tammy has invited me to visit with her in about a month. So I will be taking a trip back to the States. Culture shock. But I am looking forward to seeing her and her new boy friend.
For now, the town is quiet. Who knows what will happen by this weekend. There are so many holidays and celebrations here that I can't keep up with them. Seems like more holidays than regular work days......
My friend Nicks and his dog named Dog are now in the States. He hated to go back but he had to get rid of the rest of his things. Here is a photo of them at the Chili Cook Off....
Dog didn't like the loud music. So he hid under the table.
He is cautiously watching the noisy band before sharing Nicks' pizza. Nicks, if you are reading this post, I am sending you and Dog good wishes for a stress free visit and trip back home. You will be back home in time for the Easter craziness. Be sure to have some tranquilizer for Dog. Your friend, p
Hi, do you have the dates for the visit to Tammy? We will be in Ajijic from 3/14 to 4/29. Hope you will be there part of that time.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat, No dates yet. Thinking the first of May. P
ReplyDeletehi pat,
ReplyDeleteglad to hear the lump was not cancerous.
know just how you feel about having things done to your body. no massages for me either, or pedicures, beauty shop only for haircut!
we'll be in mexico next winter but further south, playa del carmen, acapulco and zihuat. the best part is wel'll be able to take our future jackie-jack russell terrier. may be we can meet somewhere.
take care,
teresa
Hi Teresa, Nice to know I am not the only one who feels that way. Yes, it would be fun to finally meet.... P

ReplyDeleteI know that feeling. Hang in there. P
DeleteGood to hear the lump is not cancerous!
ReplyDeletePoor dog hiding under the table - does he get along with Chico? I don't see Chico in the picture.
Cathy
Hi Cathy, Good to hear from you. They wouldn't allow dogs in the chili cook off so he had to stay in the car. Nicks' dog is a service dog so they had to let him in. Yes, the two dogs get along. They love each other. P
