    Mushrooms, aren't they? A variety of Agaricus bisporus, I suspect.

      Hi Steve, I had called them mushrooms but my friend called them toadstools. Whatever they are, I am not going to risk getting poisoned by eating them. Thanks for commenting. Always good to hear from you. P
