Walking Through the Six Corners Area

Six Corners is an area just a few blocks west of downtown Ajijic. Not many expats venture out this far. I like the feel of it. There are many small grocery and clothing stores on every block. People live in the back of their stores. I took lots of photos of these little stores.

More Walking

These photos were taken on my 10,000 step walk the other day.

Ajijic Plaza

I took these photos yesterday morning while I was on my 10,000 step walk. There were a lot of people in the plaza. I love to see the flowers for sale. Mother's Day here is on the 10th, no matter what day of the week it falls on.

Breakfast with Emily at Danny's Restaurant

Emily and I had breakfast together in the morning. She had on her western look. She is originally from Texas.

Morning Walk into Ajijic

Above is the Laguna Bed and Breakfast. Their summer rate is thirty five dollars a night. If you stay seven nights then one night is free.

Above is my dream transportation. Then I could take house sitting jobs further away from the main part of town. I may look around for an inexpensive used one. Probably not possible, considering how expensive things are here. I have complained about yard sales enough on this blog. Nothing used here is inexpensive. This is not a throw away society.

This part of my walk was along the main road, the carretera.
