Sunset

Another quiet sunset. Nothing dramatic going on. Just pastel colors and birds.

Rubins Restaurant

Above is the photographer Jaime Barbiery. The art opening was of his photographs. Beautiful photos.

Above is the owner of the restaurant, Rubin. He is very friendly and makes people feel at home. The food is good. The restaurant is on the main street close to Colon. It is one of these places that surprises you because it looks small but opens up into a beautiful garden.

The two photos above are of the musician, Louis Pavao. He played beautiful music. Some of it was Hawaiian. He gave me his CD. I love it. He is available for parties. You can contact him by e mail or phone: E mail address is: pavomusic@yahoo.com. Or phone: 766 3089. Thank you Louis for the CD.

Dale and I went out to dinner and found a nice surprise. There was a photography show at the restaurant. Beautiful music and interesting people. It was a lot of fun. There are many art shows in this town and I usually never find out about them until they are over. I was lucky this time.

Ajijic Plaza with Dale

I took a walk to the Ajijic plaza and had breakfast with my friend Dale. It was a beautiful morning. It is nice in town now because the short timers have left and it is very quiet.

Morning at the Lake

I don't know much about birds. I think this is a dove. I took it on the way to the lake.

I took these photos from a different part of the lake. It is out in the west area of Ajijic. The beach is much smaller out there.

Breakfast at the Jardin Restaurant in the Ajijic Plaza

Above from left to right are my friends Cheryl and Billy and Dale and Emily.
Cheryl and Billy arrived here a few days ago. They moved down from Florida. Cheryl has a blog that she has been writing on every since she and Billy decided to move to Mexico. She is very good at expressing the kinds of experiences and emotions that we all go through when we come here. You can click onto her blog from mine. Just look to the left of this post and you will see it. Cher Shares Mexico.......
I was going to leave Chico home but he insisted on coming with me. He hasn't been getting out much lately. How could I say no to such a cute face?
