It isn't the right kind. It is actually for surfing in the ocean, but I will try it. Thank you for encouraging me. No I don't see people sunbathing. Mexicans seem to be smarter than that and the Americans and Canadians don't hang out around the lake much. I rarely see them at the lake. I see a lot of Mexican children swimming in the lake. It looks kind of dirty and people tell me that there are still barbed wire fences up since the time when there wasn't much water. I would hate to swim into one of those. Practice turning it 360 degrees once or twice ... then you'll know how warm/cold it is!

Otra pregunta, mi amiga: does anyone ever sunbathe on the lakeshore, or swim in the lake? Hey, even Katherine Hepburn swam in the canals while she was in Venis filming. Of course, she got a major ear infection which affected her hearing & which lasted the rest of her life. But, it doesn't look like that's a big issue in Lake Chapala. It's not full of debris, etc. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2026591328777526500.post-79809744835462283672010-03-13T15:11:19.461-06:002010-03-13T15:11:19.461-06:00Hi Gayle, Thanks for writing. It must be somewhat warm, if they're standing in it up to their waists at sunset? Ok, another question: what is the name of the fish they are trying to catch - do you know the word in Spanish? Gracias!nopogaylehttp://comcast.comnoreply@blogger.com
